Soul Trek

With “Soul Trek,” Alexander Bobkin transports us to the savannah. An African sunlight illuminates the scene. At the top, we see a community so engulfed in busyness that the faces are not even distinguishable, but below, in direct contrast, the rhinoceros exudes a sense of calmness. Serene in a mirage of tranquility. The plain, stretching through horizontal stripes, in stark contrast with the vertical lines of the spectacle above. A beautiful reminder of how in the chaos of the present, peace is never far away.
